KDE: Wstrzymanie działania systemu na ekranie logowania po aktualizacji

Manjaro 22 (nie pamiętam, ale uzupełnię informację)

Wykonałem 30.08.2023 aktualizację systemu poleceniem sudo pacman -Syyu. Pobrało się ok. 4 GB aktualizacji. Po tym postanowiłem zrestartować komputer. Niestety od tamtej pory przekierowywało mnie do okna logowania, ale chwilę później wszystko się zatrzymywało. Mogę ruszać kursorem, czasami mogę wpisać hasło, jednak po wciśnięciu klawisza ENTER, ekran delikatnie się przygasza (tak jakby miał się załadować system), ale nie przechodzi dalej.

Wcześniej miewałem problemy z tym, że nie przechodził mi system do ekranu logowania, tym razem restartowanie komputera przyciskiem zasilania nic nie daje.

Kilka dni temu miałem także dziwny komunikat podczas wybudzenia komputera, (którego teraz nie pamiętam, postaram się znaleźć zdjęcie na starym telefonie). Kazał on wprowadzić kombinację klawiszy CTRL + ALT + F2, a następnie zalogować się i wprowadzić polecenie do uruchomienia “login screen 2”. Postaram się znaleźć to zdjęcie.

Faktycznie po zrobieniu tego wszystko zaczęło działać. Komunikat ten wystąpił dwa razy.

Innym problemem w ostatnim czasie była też próba zainstalowania TERMIUS poprzez instalator snap, ale nie udało się tego zrealizować. Odświeżenie snapa nic nie dało. Miałem później zrestartować komputer, aby spróbować rozwiązać ten problem, ale byłem zbyt zajęty pracą.

Bezpośrednim problemem myślę, że jest update. Jednak wspomniałem o powyższych elementach, aby było łatwiej udzielić pomocy mając na uwadze wszystkie zdarzenia.

Przeszukałem cały Internet w poszukiwaniu rozwiązania. I po raz pierwszy w życiu zmuszony jestem założyć jakiekolwiek zgłoszenie na forum. Wierzę, że uda nam się rozwiązać ten problem.

Kilka rozwiązań zapowiadało się naprawdę dobrze. Niestety nie mam możliwości zalogowania się do TTY 1 - 7. Wejście w 2 aktywuje myszkę na ekranie i widok okna logowania, a wejście w każdy inny nic nie robi, znika tylko kursor, niekiedy przenosi do czarnego ekranu. Czasami udało się wejść do konsoli, ale tylko na moment. Po wpisaniu czegokolwiek (loginu) po chwili było zatrzymanie działania, a następnie pusty czarny ekran z migającym punktem do pisania, który i tak nie działał.

Przy jednym z restartów pojawiła się jeszcze seria błędów podczas sprawdzania. Tylko raz.

Wyjaśnij, ale tak prosto i konkretnie bez rozpisywania się o przeszłości, z czym jest w tej chwili problem.

To całkiem sporo. Albo masz poinstalowane mnóstwo rzeczy albo pominąłeś kilka poprzednich aktualizacji (zły pomysł w dystrybucji rolling release). A najpewniej jedno i drugie.

Problem polega na tym, że nie mogę się zalogować do systemu. Gdy pojawia się ekran do wyboru użytkownika (jest tylko jeden), wówczas system zatrzymuje się w działaniu. Mogę co najwyżej kursorem machać. Jeśli natomiast pozwoli mi wpisać hasło, to i tak po jego zatwierdzeniu (kliknięciu ENTER) wszystko się zawiesza.

No to Ctrl + Alt + F3, logujesz się i patrzysz w logi co tam nie zagrało:

Jak wspomniałem nie jest to możliwe. Albo nic się nie dzieję (pozostaje na oknie logowania, znika wyłącznie kursor, tak jakby mnie przeniosło, ale ekran pozostał), albo mam tylko czarny ekran i nic nie jestem wstanie wpisać.

W takim razie pozostaje przejrzenie logów i naprawa z poziomu live. Montujesz systemowy dysk (choć pewnie automatycznie się zamontuje) i podglądasz logi, musisz tylko podać odpowiednią ścieżkę:

journalctl -e --directory=<mountpoint>/var/log/journal

Wczeniej podalem journalctl -e --directory=/dev/nvme0n1p2/var/log/journal, ale to nic nie dalo

Jednak, aby nie pytac o kazda drobnostke, znalazlem w sieci aby wykonac (z rozwaga)

Niestety godziny zaczynaj sie po 19, a problem wystapil w okolicy godziny 12:30 - 14:00 od tamtej pory do 20 walczylem z problemem.

Na tych zdjęciach, które udostępniłeś powtarza się jak mantra tekst:

Wywołanie polecenia z tej drugiej linijki może rzucić więcej światła na ten problem. Poza tym widać tam powtarzające się błędy o niemożności uruchomienia serwera wydruku (CUPS) i dostępu do sieci (Network Manager). We wszystkich tych linijkach powtarza się słówko systemd. Być może powinieneś powrócić do poprzedniej wersji tego pakietu.

Ta lista błędów pojawiła mi się tylko raz. Nie mam gdzie wpisać tego polecenia, ponieważ tty również dostaje freeza. Będąc już na live to nie wiem gdzie to uruchomić pod chrootem nie działa, a normalnie nie otrzymuje informacji o żadnych błędach. Co raczej jest zrozumiale, wystartowałem z pendrive i tam wszystko działa.

Możliwe, ze masz bardzo dobry punkt zaczepienia, tylko jak to wykonać i czy nie pogorszy to sprawy? (raczej wątpię)

Myślę, ze to może być związane ze sterownikiem grafiki (nVidia gtx 1050), bo wiem, ze się aktualizował w tamtym momencie. Nie mam na to argumentu.

Możesz podsunąć mi wskazówki jak systemd przywrócić do poprzedniego pakietu?

Ktos inny ma jeszcze jakiś pomysł?

Dobry pomysł, a co do godziny to żaden problem – flaga -b -1 mówi, że pokazuje logi z poprzedniego uruchomienia od włączenia do wyłączenia komputera. Powinno wystarczyć skoro problem powtarza się za każdym razem

Po analizie logów widzę jedno. Partial upgrade. Wejdź do chroota jak wcześniej i zaktualizuj system

db.lck przeszkadza

sudo manjaro-chroot -a
rm /var/lib/pacman/db.lck
pacman -Syyuu

albo brak internetu – tu wystarczy, że w live się podłączysz przed wejściem do chroota.

Faktycznie do internetu podłączyłem się po wejściu w konsole. Ponowne zalogowanie się pozwoliło uruchomić pobieranie. Dociągnęło tylko jakieś programy i po restarcie fiask

Wcześniej tez raz już to miałem. Teraz na 5 prób miałem dwukrotnie błąd ze zdjęcia. Trzy razy wisiało logo Della przez ponad 5 minut, aż do mojego wyłączenia. I raz przepuścilo do okna logowania.

No to trzeba by jeszcze raz zajrzeć w logi, najlepiej z tego uruchomienia, które przepuściło cię do ekranu logowania albo do komunikatów ze zdjęcia.

Przeszedłem na branch testowy

pacman-mirrors --api --set-branch testing && pacman-mirrors --fasttrack 5 && pacman -Syyu

Usunąłem jeden plik konfiguracyjny

/etc/X11/10-monitor.conf

Nie rozumiem skąd się tam wział. Na przełomie 2022 / 2023 dokładnie taki tworzyłem, ponieważ miałem problem aby nowa rozdzielczość monitora była dostępna po każdym restarcie. Jednak ten plik usunąłem, a jego kopie miałem na pulpicie. Skąd się tam wziął ponownie? Nie znam odpowiedzi.

Odinstalowałem sterowniki karty graficznej, zainstalowałem nowy kernel i ponownie zainstalowałem sterowniki

pacman -S linux64

mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300

Edytowałem plik konfiguracyjny mkinitcpio.conf

/etc/mkinitcpio.conf

a dokładnie jedną linijkę na

MODULES=(i915 nvidia nvidia_drm nvidia_uvm nvidia_modeset)

Aktualizacja

mkinitcpio -P

Efekt? Żaden.

Za każdym razem wychodząc z manjaro-chroot wpisywałem exit i restart robiłem z „menu start". Może powinienm coś jeszcze w chroocie zrobić?

Raz wystąpił błąd

A innym razem pozwoliło mi nawet wpisać hasło, ale nic się dalej nie zadziało

Kilka razy utknął na ekranie z logiem Dell.

W katalogu domowym użytkownika zmieniłem katalog .config na .config.bak, podobno miało to uruchomić plasme na domyślnych ustawieniach, ale to również nic nie dało.

No niezbyt, problem leży wcześniej, więc zmiana tutaj nic nie zmienia.

Co do logów to są niezbyt pomocne – wyglądają praktycznie identycznie jak wcześniej. Przyuważyłem jedynie, że od strony dysku leci w nieszkodliwy błąd. Nieszkodliwy w sensie, że system go wykrył i naprawił, jedyne co to skutkiem ubocznym może być wolne uruchamianie się systemu – ale też nie zawsze:
